The Tramp is made to feel inferior, because he was poor in the beginning of the movie, and didn't have friends. The Tramp also was fired from his job, and he wasn't able to beat up the guy while he was boxing. In the beginning the girl can;t see so she doens't know what the tramp looks like, she only knows him for the texture in his hands and by his voice. But at the end when she got the eye surgery she took him back and excepted him for what he was.
Charlie is persecuted many ways in this movie. It seems to me that he is made to feel inferior so many times. I don't know how he is able to take that. For example he has a friend that is only his friend when he becomes drunk. Or when he was fighting he was beat badly. He also gets fired from his ob, which was a disgusting job anyway, picking up horse poop. In the end i think the girl accepts him for who he is, because she felt her hands and knew it was him. She smiled and took him in. She also has a heart and of course you'd be thankful if some guy cured you from your blindness. Wouldn't you, even if it was a bum, who wasn't rich at all. She was expecting a rich man though.
At times in the movie, Chaplin is persecuted and made to feel inferior. He isn't very intelligent, and he is very clumsy. People tricked him into doing things, and made a fool out of him. At the end of the movie, the blind girl gets her sight back, and finally gets to see the person who has cared about her and helped her through out the movie; which is Chaplin. You could tell by her expressions she was confused, but she seemed happy and pleased. Chaplin was happy that he helped her, and they both seemed happy and pleased.
The Tramp is persecuted in the movie and made to feel inferior because he doesn't have a job. He is not respected. The newspaper kids threw newspapers at him. I think the girl accepts him. Somebody finally respects the tramp. The girl loves him because of what is on the inside instead of the outside.
Charlie is soooo funyy because he is at the wrong place at the wrong time and he is realy lucky. at the end she rejects him and is ashamed for taking his money.
Charlie Chaplin was inferior because he was poor, and he acted stupid. He wasn’t bright but he was really nice to that girl in the movie. He gave her all his money for her to get surgery because he was blind. In the end she could see and Charlie just got out of jail and they met again. She didn’t recognize her but then she gave him a flower and money. Then felt his hand and recognized him. She then accepted Charlie.
