What does football mean to Jess? Describe the relationship, as far as you know it, between the two sisters. What kind of family background does Jess come from?
To Jess, soccer is important to her because that is her favortie sport. In the movie she really doesn't have things to do, but when she plays soccer, she feels good and she has a lot of fun. It is also important to her because her favorite sport star is Beckham and Beckham plays soccer. When he plays he sort of bends the rules of the game, and when Jess plays, she bends the rules of her life becuase the religion that Jess follows, says that it is bad for women to play sports, and show they're bare legs to people, especially to men.
Soccer to Jess is nothing but a dream and a goal that she has to do. Its as if you were so committed to something you'd do anything. The realation between the two is very gapped. One is a mall girly girl. The other likes soccer and is a tomboy. They don't respect eeachother. Their family back ground is Indian.
Soccer means a lot to Jess. She loves playing and she's really good at it. She's even better than most boys she knows, and girls. Although Jess loves soccer, her sister would never even think about kicking a soccer ball. Jess and her sister are very different. Jess is the athletic girl, and her sister is the girly girl. Jess doesn't care about getting dirty with scraped knees, but her sister does. Her sister is very clean and always looking pretty. Jess doesn't have a care for what her sister does, and her sister does have a care about what Jess does. Even though they're different, they still love each other and have the same love for each other. Jess comes from a family that is very clean and neat and the boys focus on working on the outside, and the girls focus on working on the inside. They just do things that their own gender would do, and Jess thinks differently.
Football means a lot to Jess. Jess really enjoys the sport. She is also really good at it. The sister’s don’t have a very good relationship because they are very different. The family is from India.
foot ball is really important because it seems like that is the only thing that she is really good at. she loves playing and she has her best freind playing on the team with her.

Footbol means alot to jess because she would get her self into trouble just for playing footbol. Nothing can realy stop her from playing because she loves that sport and to her, it's like her future job. But this keeps her and her sister apart because she does not wan't her to play.
What foot ball means to jess is everything to her. It seems like all she thinks about and what is on her mind. I think the relationship between her and her sister is different. What i meaqn is that they do not treat eachother like other sister do. They act different and one moere like girly and jess is more boyish but when they are together they love eachother. From what we saw1 Jess comes from religous family.
